Age-dependent variations in leaf-endophytic microbiota and biocontrol potential in Camellia oleifera

Endophytic microbes regulate plant growth and development. Camellia oleifera, a significant Chinese woody oil-bearing tree, is a major economic crop. We used high-throughput sequencing to analyze leaf-endophytic microbes in 5- and 15-year-old C. oleifera trees in Guangshan County, Henan Province, China.
