We compared renal gene expression after ischemic reperfusion injury in mice reconstituted with bone marrow with or without myeloid CCR2 prior to injury. Overall design: 8-week old male LDLr-/- mice were lethally irradiated, reconstituted with either wildtype or Ccr2-/- bone marrow and subjected to unilateral renal ischemia reperfusion (IR) or control (ctrl.) surgery followed by a high fat diet for three weeks.
