Comparing and deciphering the bacterial communities of the rhizosphere and bulk soils in the wheat field under various cadmium pollution

Cadmium is becoming the main pollution source of heavy metals due to the fact that it is non-degradable and highly toxic, and disturbing the distribution and composition of the soil microbial community. However, there is little experimental evidence to uncover how various cadmium concentrations affect the bacterial community and the relationship between rhizosphere microorganisms and non-rhizosphere microorganisms in wheatfields. In this study, 8 soil samples were collected from wheat field with a concentration gradient for chemical and ecological patterns of bacterial communities analyses.
