Acinetobacter baumannii strain:BU310 Genome sequencing and assembly. Acinetobacter baumannii strain:BU310

Genomic DNAs from two Acinetobacter baumannii isolates, strains BR097 and BU310, from two different body sites in one patient were sequenced to provide a means of gaining an understanding of the unique characteristics between the two strains. One strain was isolated from sputum and the other from a urinary tract catheter. Studies are underway to examine the genetic diversity of these bacteria and determine the strain-specific differences in genome content and gene expression.
