RNA sequencing dataset of spontaneously immortalised pre-adipocyte line from pig

We have derived a spontaneously immortalised pre-adipocyte line using sequential long-term passaging of porcine mesenchymal stromal cells. Uniquely, this cell line (named FaTTy) gained a high level of adipogenic capacity during immortalisation which was maintained over more than 200 population doublings. Here, we provide transcriptomic data (bulk RNA sequencing) from FaTTy and parental MSCs of origin. Overall design: To identify transcriptional chages associated with immortalisation and enhanced adipogenesis in FaTTy, we performed comparative bulk RNA sequencing followed by differential gene expression analysis of 4 parental MSC samples and 4 FaTTy cell samples
