Genome sequencing and assembly of two pentastome crustaceans: Porocephalus crotali and Kiricephalus coarctatus

This project is generating novel genomic resources for the enigmatic crustacean subclass Pentastomida. The two species Porocephalus crotali and Kiricephalus coarctatus are the focus, and both are internal parasites of reptiles. These resources will be important for studying the evolution of parasitism and the evolutionary history of Pancrustcea.
