Built upon cutting-edge deep learning technologies and leveraging Optical Character Recognition (OCR) techniques, this system collects scanned passport images captured in natural scenes, automatically detects the edges of passports, corrects perspective-distorted images, supports automatic recognition of images in any orientation and both front and back sides, and intelligently detects, locates and recognizes the valid information lines on passports, achieving an accuracy rate of over 99%.
