Institutional Persistence and Governance Effectiveness in Corruption Control

This repository contains the dataset and computational materials used in the study examining corruption as a dynamic and institutionally embedded outcome across countries. The analysis is based on panel data covering 156 countries over the period 2012–2022.

The dataset integrates publicly available indicators from Transparency International (Corruption Perceptions Index) and the World Bank (Worldwide Governance Indicators and World Development Indicators), including measures of corruption, governance effectiveness, rule of law, and economic development.

The accompanying R script reproduces all empirical results presented in the study, including:

All results can be replicated by running the provided script using the included dataset.
