(1) Study the effects of lime, calcium magnesium phosphate, and organic manure individually and their mixture on the soil chemical properties, growth and incidence of root rot disease; (2) clarify the changes in the structure and function of microbial communities with exogenous soil amendments; and (3) disentangle the interactions between soil chemical properties and root rot disease and microbial communities. This study might provide more information to reveal the correlation between soil chemical properties, rhizosphere microbial communities and plant health and to help manage soil-borne diseases by soil amelioration.
