Supplementary data of the paper "Carbon Stocks and CO2 Emissions Uncertainties Associated with Agricultural Land Use Change in Brazil". The data are also available for easier visualization at brluc.cnpma.embrapa.br. They support DLUC-CO2 accounting for Brazil's LCA and carbon footprint of agriculture. They add to existing frameworks by estimating carbon stocks at the municipality level (5,569 units) and average management practices and quantifying their uncertainties for 44 land use combinations, together with DLUC-CO2 balance for 64 crops, pasture, and planted forest. They are based on IPCC guidelines, Tier 1 and 2 best available data, and the stock-differences method implemented in the BRLUC tool. Uncertainties were estimated through Monte Carlo simulations. This is the first dataset of carbon stocks and DLUC-CO2 balance at 5,569 municipalities-level with quantified uncertainties for Brazil and its major agricultural land uses. The dataset with more than 1M datapoints can support low-carbon initiatives in Brazil by including DLUC-CO2 quantification within their LCA and GHG inventories.
