Internet use in Slovenia
收藏资源简介:
Due to the continuity of data, the questionnaire contains most of the questions raised in the previous two years. In 1998, the RIS questionnaire was extended to include opinions and assessments on the intended use, potential uses, reasons for (lower) intensity of use, the implications of the use, areas of use, interest in electronic communication. The questions were asked in two questionnaires — one for the headmaster and the other for the person who, within the institution, engages in activities related to the use of the Internet (computer). Some questions were asked in both questionnaires. Both respond to questions about the number of computers in the institute, Internet access, satisfaction with the number and capacity of computers, software for which Internet activities are used, how strongly individual factors inhibit Internet usage, also assess the use of the Internet in the following year, the importance of the Internet for the activity of the institute, the positive or negative consequences of using it, and satisfaction with the knowledge of the Internet in the institute. The principal is specifically dedicated to questions about the sources of financing of computer equipment, the possibilities of communicating with individual entities and the assessment of the importance of individual educational components. The computer technician answers questions concerning the technical aspects of the equipment (local network, ISDN connection, method of accessing the internet, use of individual services, homepage, possibilities for students to use the Internet, use in individual school subjects, also assess the access provider). The data include the function of the person who completed the survey, the type of school institution, the number of employees and the number of pupils (students, children) in the organisation and the region.
