Estrategias de calidad de servicio de salud. Una revisión bibliométrica

This bibliometric study analyzes research on strategies to improve the quality of health services. Its purpose is to examine the productivity of authors, institutions and countries, identify main journals and collaborative networks, delineate thematic areas and determine strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. Using a qualitative approach with a longitudinal non-experimental design, 146 documents extracted from Scopus were analyzed, with a predominance of articles (114) and systematic reviews (17). The production presents an average of 12.38 citations per article. Among the results, a growing global interest in this topic stands out, with an annual rate of expansion close to 10%. The productivity of the United States and Iran stands out, as well as the participation of leading journals such as PLoS ONE and BMC Health Services Research. However, there is a lack of specialized consolidated groups. The thematic areas addressed converge in "quality of health services" but more integration with contemporary approaches and contextualized implementations is required. Among the strengths is the incorporation of perspectives from marginalized groups. In summary, a roadmap is provided that highlights gaps in specific funding, specialized groups and knowledge application. Addressing these areas of opportunity is key to generating effective strategies that continuously and equitably improve the quality of health services.
