Waipa District Plan - Special Feature Area

Special features and natural hazard areas in the Waipa District Plan. Features include flood hazard areas, flood ponds, flood flow areas, quarry buffers and mineral extraction zones. Special features or natural hazards. This includes filled ground/unconsolidated fill, flood hazard areas as identified by specific flood management plans or studies, landfill, overland flowpaths, peat areas and areas of poor soakage. NOTE: This dataset can only be downloaded in a WGS 1984 projection. For accurate spatial analysis in New Zealand, ensure it is reprojected to the NZ standard projection. The Waipa District Plan was made operative on 14 August 2017 and has legal effect from this date.
