资源简介:

This dataset contains the processed survey responses used to examine how six consumer considerations (environmental concern, economic factors, range anxiety, perceived charging infrastructure, perceived non-financial risk, and symbolic and hedonic value) shape attitude toward battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and, through attitude, BEV adoption intention among car owners in Indonesia, and whether monetary government incentives moderate the attitude–intention link. Data were collected through a Google Forms questionnaire distributed via automotive communities, professional and alumni groups, and social media from 22 to 29 September 2026, using purposive sampling with screening questions. Respondents were Indonesian citizens aged 20 or older in Greater Jakarta, Bandung, and Bandar Lampung who owned a non-BEV passenger car, did not own a BEV, and planned to buy a car within 24 months. The dataset comprises 164 valid responses (of 311 received) and 38 measurement indicators on a five-point Likert scale (1 = strongly disagree, 5 = strongly agree): Environmental Concern (EC1–EC4), Economic Factors (EF1–EF5), Range Anxiety (RA1–RA4), Perceived Charging Infrastructure (CI1–CI4), Perceived Non-Financial Risk (PR1–PR4), Symbolic and Hedonic Value (SH1–SH4), Government Incentives (GI1–GI3 monetary, GI4–GI5 non-monetary), Attitude toward BEVs (ATT1–ATT4), and BEV Adoption Intention (AI1–AI4). Economic factor, range anxiety, and risk items are worded as burdens, so higher scores indicate greater barriers. The final PLS-SEM model uses 35 indicators; ATT4 was removed for discriminant validity, and GI4–GI5 were used only in an exploratory check. The CSV file contains only the coded Likert responses. It does not contain names, contact details, region, demographic profile, or other direct personal identifiers. The record also includes a codebook with the English and original Indonesian item wording, the SmartPLS 4 reports behind the chapter's tables, and a workbook of supplementary analyses. The dataset supports transparency and verification of the chapter "From Attitude to Adoption Intention: Understanding Consumer Decision-Making Toward Battery Electric Vehicles for Sustainable Mobility in Indonesia" (WE ARE Student 2026, Paper 936) and further research on consumer adoption of electric vehicles. Files included:• Data_Survey_SmartPLS_IDPaper936_WAS2026.csv — processed survey data containing 164 observations and 38 indicators.• Codebook_IDPaper936_WAS2026.csv — variable names, constructs, item wording (English and Indonesian), coding, and use in the final model.• SmartPLS_MainEffects_PLSAlgorithm_IDPaper936.xlsx — measurement and structural model results (main-effects model).• SmartPLS_MainEffects_Bootstrap_OneTailed_IDPaper936.xlsx — bootstrapping of direct effects (10,000 subsamples, one-tailed).• SmartPLS_MainEffects_Bootstrap_TwoTailed_Complete_IDPaper936.xlsx — bootstrapping of indirect effects and HTMT intervals (10,000 subsamples, two-tailed).• SmartPLS_Moderation_PLSAlgorithm_IDPaper936.xlsx — moderation model (two-stage interaction).• SmartPLS_Moderation_Bootstrap_OneTailed_IDPaper936.xlsx — bootstrapping of the moderation model (10,000 subsamples, one-tailed).• Supplementary_Analyses_IDPaper936_WAS2026.xlsx — descriptives, initial model, common method bias, PLSpredict, competing model, sensitivity and exploratory analyses.• README.md — study summary, settings, and the source of each result in the chapter.
