This grant proposal within the DFG format (DFG form 53.01 – 11/20) designs research project on the application of δ<sup>11</sup>B signatures from extinct cephalopods in Buttenheim clay pit (Bamberg, North Bavaria) to assess the ocean acidification during the Pliensbachian–Toarcian (Early Jurassic) extinction phase. This work had been carried out in WS20/21 Research Project Design Module.
