Description:This repository provides annual maps of forest structural attributes (i.e., canopy height, stand volume, aboveground biomass, and basal area) at 30 m spatial resolution using Landsat time series data for the period 1990-2021. Prediction uncertainty maps are also available for 2021. The maps cover the entire country of Japan, excluding several isolated islands. All datasets are provided in compressed GeoTIFF format in the Albers Equal Area Conic projection. The maps are also available in Google Earth Engine Apps. If users wish to use the dataset without applying bias correction, please divide the mapped values by the corresponding correction factor listed in Table S7 of the Supplementary Materials of the original article (e.g., for canopy height in 2010, divide all map values by 0.9551). Please note that mapped values for the period 1990-2019 were converted to integer format due to file size limits. The original float-point datasets are provided for 2020 and 2021.
