This dataset accompanies a study investigating the interplay between self-transcendence values (ST values), cooperative attitude, and cooperative behavior in Chinese L2 learners at the university level. The research also includes an analysis of how Foreign Language Enjoyment (FLE) and Emotional Intelligence (EI) moderate these relationships. Data were collected from a sample of 234 university students, predominantly female, with an average age of 20.509 years. We employed AMOS 26 and SPSS PROCESS macro for data analysis. Key findings indicate that cooperative attitude serves as a mediator between ST values and cooperative behavior, while both EI and FLE moderate the influence of ST values on cooperative attitude. Additionally, FLE was found to moderate the direct link between cooperative attitude and cooperative behavior. Both the raw data and process analysis data utilized in deriving these insights are included.
