Rural Industrial Revitalization and Common Prosperity: Pathways to Sustainable Development in China's Agricultural Regions

This dataset contains provincial panel data for China covering the years 2013–2023, used to measure and analyze rural common prosperity and its relationship with rural industrial revitalization. The dataset includes a constructed Rural Common Prosperity Index for 30 provinces in mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Tibet), based on multiple dimensions of rural economic, social, and environmental indicators. The data were compiled from official statistical yearbooks and related authoritative sources. Key variables encompass measures of rural income, employment, industrial development, and other socio-economic factors. These data were employed in empirical analyses using Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) and mediation effect models to assess the impact of rural industrial revitalization on rural common prosperity, including the mechanisms of income growth and employment effects.
