Gene expression changes of 4,4'-thiobis(6-tert-butyl-m-cresol)-induced in renal cortex of rats

This study is to develop a short term and highly accurate prediction method of renal carcinogenicity based on gene expression profile of rats administrated by carcinogens. We conducted 28 days-repeated dose experiments in male SD rats with 4,4'-thiobis(6-tert-butyl-m-cresol), and the gene expression profiles of renal cortex were analyzed using custom microarrays.
本研究旨在基于致癌物染毒大鼠的基因表达谱(gene expression profile),开发一种短期且高精度的肾脏致癌性(renal carcinogenicity)预测方法。本研究以4,4'-硫代双(6-叔丁基间甲酚)(4,4'-thiobis(6-tert-butyl-m-cresol))处理雄性SD大鼠(SD rats),开展28天重复染毒实验(28 days-repeated dose experiments),并采用定制基因芯片(custom microarrays)分析大鼠肾皮质的基因表达谱。
