Mitogenome resources for Oryctes rhinoceros and OrNV partial pg83-like gene sequence collection

Draft mitochondrial genomes of Oryctes rhinoceros from native and introduced ranges, and OrNV partial pg83-like gene sequences assembled from Illumina paired-end short reads. \nLineage: Data was generated from whole genome sequence dataset from DNA libraries of individual Oryctes rhinoceros dissected gut tissue. Sequencing was via Illumina's Nova seq platform and assembly of draft mitogenomes and partial OrNV pg83-like gene was by Geneious Prime's (Version 2022.2.2) (Biomatters Ltd., Auckland) Geneious Mapper program using the ‘Map to Reference’ option and by selecting the ‘Low Sensitivity/Fastest’ option for the Sensitivity field, and with no fine-tuning.
