OPTIMIZATION OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM BASED ON ANALYSIS OF POPULATION MOBILITY: THE CASE STUDY OF JIZZAKH

This thesis studies the issues of optimizing the public transport system based on the analysis of population mobility characteristics using the example of the city of Jizzakh. The study analyzes the daily travel routes of the population, time consumption, transport use intensity, and the efficiency of the existing infrastructure. Also, proposals are developed to improve the system by regulating transport flows, reviewing routes, and introducing digital technologies.
