Open-source Workflow for Parameterized Electrical Machine Finite Element Computation with Elmer

Automatization software to solve electromagnetic problems with Elmer software. The case study involved a large amount of parameter studies related to finding the best design choices for the machine details such as the slot number, slot shapes, winding layers, rotor bar number, and rotor bar shapes. In order to solve the problems in an efficient manner, an automatized design workflow was established. The workflow presented consists of a number of existing open-source software and a new software developed to control the workflow. Software created as a part of Mäntylä's Master Thesis.
