Comunication devices for health promotion: methodological reflections from de process of sharing of Work Case “Recognizin Manguinhos”

The article seeks to contribute to the popular health education, describing and analyzing a process of sharing materials produced by action research expanded communities on health, environment and citizenship issues, in a favela located in Rio de Janeiro. From the theoretical and methodological referential of emancipatory health promotion and environmental justice, the article describes the process of sharing a “Briefcase”, presenting the objectives, the dynamics and the main results of four workshops held with the social actors: teachers, youth, counselors, health professionals and researchers. The relevance of a video production report as “mechanism” to return the results of the workshop is discussed. The video report would also be a new communication device to be incorporated into the suitcase. Finally, it analyzes the challenges, limitations and the potential of this training experience of expanded communities’ production about the problems and potential of the territory.
