This record contains the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews) checklist and associated supporting materials for the scoping review entitled “Challenges, Support, and Progression for Students with Autism in University.” The review explores existing evidence on the barriers autistic students face in higher education, the types of support available to them, and factors influencing their academic and personal progression. By synthesizing findings across multiple studies, the review highlights both systemic challenges and promising practices for fostering inclusive learning environments. Included materials: PRISMA-ScR Checklist – completed checklist documenting adherence to PRISMA-ScR reporting guidelines. Protocol – study objectives, eligibility criteria, and methodological approach guided by the Arksey and O'Malley approach and outlined in 3 documents titled: Stage 1 - Identifying research aim/questions Stage 2 - Identifying relevant studies Stage 3 - Study selection Data Extraction Form – template used to chart, synthesise and report data, again guided by the Arksey and O'Malley approach and outlined in 2 documents titled:# Stage 4 - Charting the data Stage 5 - Collating, summarising and reporting These materials are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and adherence to established reporting standards.
