Role of TERRA lncRNA during epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition

We analyzed the contribution of TERRA lncRNA in an invitro model of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition induced by TGFß. Overall design: We overexpressed TERRA-like long-non-coding RNA in murine NMuMG cells by stably overexpressing Vp16-TRF1?N protein. Then, we induced epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) by 24hr TGFß exposure. The aim to is analyze changes in the EMT signature induced by TERRA overexpression.
