The current project was aimed to explore the potential of Streptomyces griseoincarnatus AR2 for producing wide array of bioactive secondary metabolites. The in-vitro assays proved that Streptomyces griseoincarnatus AR2 has excellent potential of production antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-oxidant metabolites. The whole-genome sequencing also confirmed presence of biosynthetic genes clusters encoding antimicrobial metabolites.
