Longitudinal mean velocity and turbulent kinetic energy within an emergent canopy in nonuniform flows

The dataset records time-averaged three-dimensional velocity components (u, v, w) and turbulent kinetic energy (TKE) values at each measurement location. Velocity measurement vertical profiles were positioned along the streamwise direction from the leading edge of the canopy for four vegetation solid volume fraction (phi) under conditions of Q=3.55 L/s and Q=5.15 L/s. These profiles were designated as X1, X2, X3, and X4. For comparison, additional velocity profiles were acquired 10 cm upstream (x=Xup) and downstream (x=Xdown) of the vegetation canopy edges.
