Inspire Protected Areas in Germany

The INSPIRE Map Service Protected Areas in Germany provides nationwide protected area datasets in accordance with the requirements of the INSPIRE Directive Annex I topic. The harmonised data sets of protected areas are brought together by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation once a year from the data sets of the federal states and the federal government. In doing so, the territorial boundaries shall be, where necessary, at the course of the federal borders of the data base administrative borders: 25,000 (VG 25, BKG) adjusted. Status of the data: FFH sites (2019), bird sanctuaries (2019), national parks (2021), nature reserves (2019), national natural monuments (2020), biosphere reserves (2021), nature parks (2021), landscape conservation areas (2019).
