Lymantria dispar and Lymantria monacha are taxonomically closely related, co-seasonal and economically important forest pests on broadleaf and coniferous trees. The data generated in this study are a valuable resource for the study of the different responses of L. dispar and L. monacha to parasitation by G. liparidis.
