Tombs of honorary citizens and of meritorious citizens of all cemeteries in Cologne. In some cases, the appointment as an honorary citizen or a meritorious citizen was posthumously so that the existing burial sites were subsequently declared tombs of honour. § 23 of the cemetery statutes of the City of Cologne is decisive for the establishment of burial sites.
