VPRS 16525 Specialist Practitioners Qualification Committee Minutes, Reports and Correspondence

The Specialist Practitioners Qualification Committee was a Statutory Committee of the Dental Board established on 10/05/1977. It met three times a year to consider applications from dentists requesting recognition as specialists in one of the following branches of dentistry: endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, paedodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, dentomaxillofacial radiology, public health dentistry and oral pathology and oral medicine. The committee consisted of the President of the Board, another Board member, and a nominee of each of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, the Australian Dental Association and the University of Melbourne. The final meeting of the committee was held on 24/05/2000. Specialist Registration was thereafter a matter for the Dental Practice Board of Victoria.
