NOAA Coral Reef Watch is a coral reef monitoring program established in 2000 by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). It provides near-real-time satellite products and modeling forecasts to monitor and issue early warnings for global coral reef bleaching events. This database integrates remote sensing, numerical modeling and in-situ data to provide coral reef managers, researchers and educators with early warning systems for coral reef environmental changes, supporting the conservation and management of coral reef ecosystems.
