UK Biobank White British IBD rate

We used ibd-ends to infer IBD segments of length > 2 cM in 408,883 White British individuals. We calculated the number of IBD segments covering each position at 10 kb intervals along each chromosome. The IBD rate can be obtained from this number by dividing by the number of haplotype pairs (408883*2*(408882*2)/2). The columns in the data file are chromosome number (1-22), basepair position (GRCh37), number of IBD segments. We investigated regions of peak IBD rate, which can represent signals of natural selection.
