AVHRR satellite imagery of Eastern Antarctica, captured by the NOAA12 satellite.Data have been collected since June of 1996, but not all locations have archives dating back to this time.Images are available of the following areas:Princess Ragnhild Coast (West)Princess Ragnhild CoastPrincess Ragnhild Coast (East)Enderby LandMawson regionDavis - Prydz BayWest Ice ShelfShackleton Ice ShelfCasey regionSabrina CoastWilkes CoastDumont d'Urville - Mertz Gl.Ninnis Glacier regionCape AdareTerra Nova BayRoss Ice Shelf However, this AVHRR sea-ice archival service was discontinued in 2015. Please contact the Bureau of Meteorology's Regional Manager for Antarctic Meteorology at tasrmam@bom.gov.au for any satellite archive support.
