Methylation status and frequency of top 10 hypermethylated genes in tumor samples.

List of the top 10 genes that were hypermethylated in at least 85% of benign and malignant tumor samples. The highest mean methylation was observed in dysplastic lesions, followed by stage I-III cancer samples, whereas samples from patients with metastatic cancer had the lowest level of hypermethylation.
