Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired along the Juan de Fuca Ridge Spreading Center during the Discoverer expedition RP-15-DI-86 (1986)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam Multibeam Sonar system during Discoverer expedition RP-15-DI-86 conducted in 1986 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Stephen Hammond). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the at-sea science party and the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): NOAA VENTS: Survey of Axial Volcano and the Oregon Convergent Margin and VENTS; VENTS2.
