Multi-omics Guided Network-based Drug Repurposing for HIV Therapeutics This dataset contains all supplementary data generated from transcriptomic, proteomic, and integrated multi-omics analyses performed to identify key host targets and potential drug repurposing candidates for HIV therapeutics. The study integrates RNA-seq data (GSE310288) and proteomics data (PXD005810) to identify concordant molecular signatures associated with HIV infection. Differential gene expression analysis was performed using DESeq2, followed by integration with proteomics data to identify concordant upregulated and downregulated targets. Functional enrichment analysis was conducted using STRING and clusterProfiler to identify significantly enriched Gene Ontology biological processes and pathways (KEGG and Reactome). Protein–protein interaction networks were constructed using STRING and analyzed in Cytoscape to identify hub and bottleneck genes based on network topology. Key host targets were further evaluated for drug repurposing using DGIdb to identify approved drug–gene interactions. This dataset includes raw data references, processed datasets, enrichment results, network analysis outputs, Cytoscape files, and the complete R analysis pipeline to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
