Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Watching Brief at Tewkesbury Borough Council, Gloucester Road, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire 2022

This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological watching brief carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in May and June 2022 during groundworks associated with the construction of a car port with solar panels at the Tewkesbury Borough Council offices, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. In most of the observed excavations, pre 1970s deposits had been removed and the surface of the natural substrate had been truncated, however in one of the foundation pits excavated a deposit containing a small quantity of pottery of 12th to 16th-century date was observed.
