The woman is pictured at center at center in front of a large crack in the adobe's facade, wearing a kerchief and floral-print dress and holding the leashes to two dogs. The one-and-a-half story ranch house is pictured behind her, the spackle crumbling to show brick, and a wooden box window extending from the shingled roof. Tall bushes can be seen at either side of the frame. The original iron bars, or rejas, are visible on the windows.
