Basin

This dataset represents both retention and detention basins. Retention basins (wet ponds) manage stormwater runoff to prevent flooding, downstream erosion, and improve water quality in a nearby lake or stream. Detention basins (dry ponds) temporarily holds stormwater runoff but eventually empties at a controlled rate to a downstream waterbody. This dataset maintains the valid basin types within the County; Commerial Retention (CR) Residential Retention (RR) Commercial Detention (CD) Residential Detention (RD)本数据集涵盖滞留塘（Retention basins）与调蓄塘（Detention basins）两类设施。其中，滞留塘（又称湿塘，wet ponds）通过管控雨水径流，实现洪涝防控、下游侵蚀防护，并改善邻近湖泊或溪流的水环境质量。调蓄塘（又称干塘，dry ponds）可临时储存雨水径流，最终以受控速率将径流排放至下游水体。本数据集收录该县境内合规有效的塘体类型，包括商业滞留塘（Commerial Retention, CR）、住宅滞留塘（Residential Retention, RR）、商业调蓄塘（Commercial Detention, CD）与住宅调蓄塘（Residential Detention, RD）。
