This dataset contains phenological observations of budbreak (BBCH 54-C3 stage) on 239 cultivars of a dessert apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) core collection located at the INRAE Diascope experimental unit (43° 360N, 03°580E, , France). . The timing of budbreak was recorded from 2015 and continued yearly until 2023. Part of these observations were carried out with the support of the ERANET project Supcrop FruitFlow
