The data depicts the Cowcod Conservation Areas (CCAs) for cartographic and illustrative use. The CCAs were repealed in federal regulation on January 1, 2024 and CCA restrictions no longer apply to non-trawl commercial and recreational vessels fishing for groundfish. The specific coordinates of the CCA were previously found in the California Code of Regulations Title 14 Sections 27.50 and 150.06, and the Code of Federal Regulations Title 50 Section 660.70. Please refer to the current California regulations for the most up-to-date information.
