Chronic heart failure (CHF) and atrial fibrillation (AF) remain two of the most prevalent cardiovascular disorders among elderly populations worldwide. Their coexistence significantly increases morbidity, hospitalization rates, and mortality. AF contributes to hemodynamic instability and thromboembolic risk, while CHF promotes atrial remodeling and electrical instability, creating a bidirectional pathological relationship.
