The data source is https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-022-34525-w. Given the lack of publicly available detailed ground movement data (including both subsidence and uplift) for China's coastal regions, this dataset was compiled through a systematic literature review to comprehensively organize ground movement-related information across China's coastal areas, and a ground subsidence database for coastal cities in China was established. The database contains subsidence rates and corresponding measurement methodologies for these coastal cities across different time periods. The literature sources primarily include CNKI, Web of Science, as well as grey literature such as research reports and planning documents. This dataset can be utilized for studies on relative sea level change, coastal extreme water levels, and coastal flood risk assessment, and provides reliable references and scientific basis for the prevention and control of coastal ground subsidence as well as the planning of coastal adaptation measures.
