Environmental and sex-specific drivers shape the evolution of myrmeomorphy in the Australian plant bug genus Carenotus (Hemiptera: Miridae: Phylinae)

This repository contains the datasets, phylogenetic tree, R scripts, statistical outputs, and diagnostic figures supporting the study “Environmental and sex-specific drivers of myrmecomorphy evolution in the Australian ant-mimicking plant bug genus Carenotus (Hemiptera: Miridae: Phylinae).” The files allow reproduction of the calculation of the Composite Myrmecomorphy Index (MMI), phylogenetic signal analyses, phylogenetic generalized least-squares (PGLS) models, model selection procedures, and graphical outputs.
