Area-based compensatory measures provided for by a clearance authorisation. These measures may be of 6 types: Forested reserves, afforestation/reforestation, Wooded rehabilitation,Civil or biological engineering works, Works for the reduction of natural hazards, Land transfer to the state. These measures are decided by the DDT(M) within the framework of the provisions of the Forestry Code.
