The aim of this study is to understand the changes in pollen production caused by land-use management or the plant-community shaped by land-use. We sampled two common meadow flowers that are self-incompatible, namely Ranunculus acris and Trifolium pratense. We aimed to analyse the effects of inter- and intra-specific competition or facilitation on pollen production, therefore this data contains flower weight, pollen extracted per flower, and flowering plant community data (total flower density, focal species abundance, and species richness) at the time of fieldwork. Sampling for R. acris took place in April-May and that of T. pratense took place in July-August in 2023-2024 in the grassland plots from three german regions (Schwäbische Alb, Hainich-Dün, Schorfheide-Chorin).
