The overall goal of this project was to determine the extent to which subcortical ischemia and infaraction, and Alzheimer's disease, contribute to dementia. This project aimed to provide a greater understanding of the pathogenesis of dementia in patients with SIVD and AD.
Methods
Data were acquired at several sites: ABS = Aging Brain San Francisco (SFVAMC), ABD = Aging Brain UC Davis, and ABL = Aging Brain Los Angeles (USC).
