资源简介:
This project focuses on the three-dimensional investigation of pore topology and phase distribution in bulk nano-structured porous alloys. Aiming at the sustainable synthesis of centimeter-scale nano-structured porous Fe-based alloys with dual-phase microstructures, we have recently developed a vapor-phase reactive dealloying synthesis approach via tailored solid-state redox and substitutional alloying. To determine the processing-microstructure-property relationship in these nano-structured porous alloys, we propose to study the spatial distribution of the presenting phases and the topological properties of the pores using the phase-contrast enhanced nano-tomography instrument available at beamline ID16B of ESRF. Quantitative measurements, including size, morphology, spatial distribution, and three-dimensional connectivity of the nano-pores and the presenting phases will be obtained.
