Report from the Government to Parliament on rising electricity columns

The rising column of electricity is the terminal element of the connection of consumers to the public electricity networks in residential buildings. In 2015, several press articles estimated that 300,000 buildings were equipped with high-risk columns and required works of the order of EUR 6 billion. During the discussion of the draft law on the energy transition for green growth, Parliament asked the Government for a report on the status of rising columns. A mission was entrusted to the CGEDD.
